Rules

Welcome to the St. Claire Official Wacky Boolprop Challenge. These are the rules I will be following, including the bonus challenges I will be taking on.

Basic Challenge Layout

This challenge runs for three generations but this count does not include the founders. So, basically, a four generation legacy challenge.

  • No cheats such as maxmotives shall be permitted; testingcheatsenabled may only be used to fix bugs or to create pregnancies in same sex couples. Building cheats are allowed.
  • No hacks that unfairly affect gameplay to your advantage are permitted. Hacks that are purely cosmetic, fix bugs in the game, or save your fingers from unnecessary clicks are permitted as long as they do not unfairly give you advantage both in the main challenge and any additional mini-challenge you take on.
  • You may, of course, use any means necessary to salvage your game, your family and this challenge from any horrible glitches that come your way.
  • The challenge ends when the child(ren) of the third pregnancy of the third generation reaches adulthood.

Rules

  • Each generation, starting with the founders, must have three pregnancies. If your Spouse dies before the third pregnancy you can re-marry or adopt, if you grow too old you must use life fruit or adopt. If you skip out on a pregnancy during a generation it’s -10 points for each pregnancy missed.
  • Create a single, human, founder.
  • Founder must be human when placed into the game but can use any method legitimate in game method to obtain occult status.
  • All of the traits should be rolled if they are not already locked in.
  • Heir polls are required. Each heir hopeful should have their best facial expression pictured as the challenge is wacky the sims ought be wacky too!
  • Graves must be kept on the lot unless you have a slow game and in this case you can move them onto a graveyard.
  • You may not hire a maid, gardener, nanny, repairman or fireman for the duration of the challenge. SimBots and Pumbots are allowed as they are not human.
  • If a child that resulted from one of the three mandatory pregnancies is taken by a social worker -10 for each child. Any additional children through non-mandatory pregnancy or adoption that are taken results in -3 points, if the child was a Bad Apple (see Mini-Challenges), whether or not from a mandatory pregnancy, only -3 points.
  • The Drew Rule, if something breaks it can only be repaired at 12pm-1pm, new stuff that breaks after that time can not be repaired until noon this next day.
  • An Army of Flamingos, you must have three flamingos on the lawn for every non-pet member of the household, they can be that sims favorite color or just pink. If someone kicks them over you must straighten them back up every morning (between sun-up and noon) during “Roll Call”.
  • Obtain at least one occult (ghost, alien, zombie, vampire, witch, fairy, werewolf, plantsim, imaginary friend, mummy, mermaid, unicorn, or genie) through the course of the challenge. You need a forum mascot, don’t you? Failure to obtain said mascot results in -30 points.
  • The Motive Mobile reward is allowed.
  • Your founder may be a sim born in game if you wish.
  • You may start on any size lot, with or without a pre-built house, that your Sims can afford either straight out of the SimBin. Just make sure it’s a good enough size to stay on for the duration of the challenge for a family that’s going to average about five Sims if not more. You cannot start out in an high-rise building.
  • Occults: You may only have one occult sim with an expanded life span (mummy, vampire, genie, werewolf, fairy). This sim will probably remain until the end of the challenge so they can complete as many of the mini-challenges as you wish. Also, you may not cure the sim of their occult state. Doing so will result in a loss of -30 points.

Bonus Challenges

Base Game:

  • For making a founder with a colourful skin tone and keeping the skin colour in the family until third generation. (3 Points)
  • Achieving every lifetime wish for spares, and heir/esses. You can keep the spares in the household until their LTW is complete. (3 Points)
  • For having a gnome to guard your flamingos. He must be accessible to be kicked. Watch for it and don’t lose that gnome! (3 Points)

Supernatural:

  • For obtaining all three new supernatural creatures with one generation, three children would be needed for this. (the werewolf, witch and vampire) (3 Points)
  • Must have a Mysterious Bookcase that leads into a Mysterious Place, you must build it yourself. Be creative! Need to see pictures of this room or hallway or passageway. (3 Points)
  • Keep Bonehilda in the household for the whole challenge, the founder must buy and unlock her coffin by the time the first child of generation is born. (3 Points)

Seasons:

  • Each Sim must attend each of the seasonal festivals once after they become children and before they become Elders. (3 Points)
  • Each heir must get abducted by aliens. (3 Points)
  • All four seasons must be active for the entire length of the challenge. (3 Points)

BoolProp Naming Scheme (10 Points)

Naming the first generation’s three children names that start with B, O and O. The second generation’s children would be given names that start with L, P and R. The third generation’s children would be given names that start with O, P and N (for .net, of course!). If twins are born they count as one letter, tough bananas! Name them both with the letter the one child would have been assigned and then you must have another child. So if I had my first generation heir have a boy that I named Larry, then a set of twins I would name them Peter and Paula, because they only count for one letter, I would then have to have them try for another baby to get a Rachel. Additional children born/adopted whether intentionally or accidentally are considered outside the naming scheme and can be named whatever you want.
